Philanthropy Lunch: Philanthropy and data protection

Genf

veranstaltet vom Centre en Philanthropy der Universität Genf

Foundations, associations, international organizations, NGOs, all are concerned directly by the issue of data protection and privacy. Their non-profit activities do not prevent them from the obligation to abide by applicable laws. On the contrary, non-profit entities often deal with significant amounts of potentially sensitive personal data, be it from beneficiaries, donors, governments, or employees. This event aims at providing an overview of the legal and practical consequences that these two pieces of legislation have on Swiss-based non-profit entities.

The event will also be available on Zoom.
